Bill on (dive boat)took lines thank goodness,took a couple of attempt as i was being blown off.HM Ian cycled hurriedly down but i was earlier than my ETA.David from Whitehills and Guy addinton (RNLI ) had called to tell the HM I was on my way single-handed.

Charlotte ,the part-time sailmaker,wasn’t too happy this morning and I had to take canopy a part -lots of tears we’ve been repairing but stitching can’t be UV resistant - took canopy came back 2 hours later!No charge. £15 to RNLI
I mentioned how much I liked the Moray coast and how happy I was to stay here a few days.’That’s what happened to me’, she cried. ‘.We sailed from Denmark all girls,then met some guys here who said we shoulod get up to Orkney. I haven’t left since!’.
Met Angela, who runs the gift shop, her husband (Ian)has had a successful Tx too! She offered a donation,which I told her to send to NKF (National Kidney Federation).These are the extra-ordinary people I have been meeting.

Bought tartan glasses.(trying to trace grandad ‘Cowan’s roots,started with tartan treews and glasses!)
Eventually - put canopy together,then fell asleep.Nice to rest.I’m getting persistent nose bleeds ,which I believe is due to my new medication, but it doesn’t disable me too much, as long as I carry tissue!The iron tablets I’ve been prescribed at least let me walk hills without getting too out of breath!
Jenny on Serenity arrived tonight. So glad to see another sailor I know and to know she’s okay. Read on her site that her ceiling at home had caved in, so she had to go back to Cambridge to sort things out.
Pam from ‘Cari’ called to give me pilotage directions for the trip to Inverness.
Peter from Skua III called to check up on me.they carried on past here and went on towards Inverness but picked up a buoy outside Cromarty .
