walked the beach today and the only thing that spoilt the tranquility of the long stretch of dunes were the jets flying over, every 10minutes. The RAF base here is a large contributor to the community and without fishing that's what keeps it going.
I walked into a shop doorway and saw it was a health clinic,I managed to get a wonderful aromatherapy massage.Shelagh, who massaged me (and sent me asleep),invited me to her house,to eat, have a bath and stay, then on Saturday, she'll drive us over to Findhorn for lunch.
I've wanted to get to Findhorn for years. It is known as a very spiritual and peaceful place and I doubt if i'll be able to sail in there,as even locals sometimes mess it up,due to the sandbanks constantly shifting.Anyway, now i'll still get to see it.Thanks to a chance meeting and the generosity of the people here.
Strange item on the menu in a cafe today, 'haggis panini, with whisky sauce'? |
